Simulacra

This is a short film made by myself and Mark Rayner. It has violence, swearing and ugg boots... all you can ever want in a film. It also features wildly out of sync dialogue, so don't worry to much about that. I mean, yeah, we meant for it to be like this.

A Mountain Walked Or Stumbled

A Mountain Walked Or Stumbled

Here is an album I self released this year. There are two tracks of longform, minimal, dubbed out, drone, psychedelic whatever you call it. Have a listen and let me know what you think.

Hi God People - East Brunswick Club 14/04/2007

Hi God People performance at East Brunswick Club, supporting My Disco, I think. Another great performance with shoddy video. Awesome.

Hi God People "La Belle Epoche" 23/03/2007

Here is another older Hi God Performance from a tram decked out all Bollywood. It was nuts. Completely. The tram broke down, it was stuffed to the roof with people, plus the Hi God People plus cohorts acting like the weirdo's they are. Fantastic!

Hi God People - Bus Gallery 17/03/07

Here is an older clip of Hi God People performing at Bus Gallery on the 17th of March 2007.

Hi God People "Tiger Tooth Bangles Of Nomo"

Hi God People floated down from the clouds into my makeshift studio and the result was this music video for "Tiger Tooth Bangles Of Nomo" from their split 12" with Dead C. I don't even really know who these people are, or if they are even real. They seem nice though. The video was shot on a rudimentary green screen, utilising favorite atmospherics of strobe lights and fog machines. The aesthetics were informed by too much Dr Who as a child, and the otherwordly appearence of the Hi God People themselves.

Panel Of Judges "Dream Satisfaction"

Music Video for Panel Of Judges song "Dream Satisfaction" directed, shot and edited by Jason Heller. The clip features a backdrop of Carlton's housing commission flats, some of which are now demolished. The shoot day was typically Melbourne. It was sunny, raining, windy and overcast, all within the space of a few hours. Panel Of Judges are, as always, as cool as cucumbers, and the song, from a split 7" with New Zealand's Garbage And The Flowers, is a killer.
